Adding more noize on those Interwbz about food, mainly to annoy eater.com
About Me I spent most of my life being morbidly obese. I lost lots of weight a few times, but always gained it back. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2005 and lost 110 pounds and 110 points off my cholesterol.
Ironically, now that I by necessity eat less, I appreciate food a lot more. These days I do a lot more whole grains, good proteins and fresh herbs and vegetables. I've always loved to cook, but knowing that I now must be judicious in my food selections I don't want to waste my carb allowance or need for protein on crap such as fat, sugar or processed foods.
Gimme the good stuff baby or teach me how to make it myself.
Wow. Betty Crocker? That was a surprise. I agree that was a totally lame list.
